Gluten-Free Goodies at Clearwater Festival A Success!

We had a great time at Clearwater Festival on Saturday and Sunday June 16-17.  It’s a great cause (keep the Hudson River and the environment clean) with tons of great music, crafts and food.
This was the second year of the artisanal food market, and it was a great success.  We had lots of goodies including cookies by the piece, brownies, banana bread, zucchini bread, blueberry pound cake, chocolate pound cake, peach cobbler, blueberry cobbler, linzer-tart-like raspberry heart cookies and Horchata drink.  All gluten-free, peanut-free and allergy-sensitive goodies.
And while we had a lot of customers with food allergies and intolerances and celiac disease, we were delighted to serve many people without food restrictions who were looking for delicious and all natural treats to munch on and enjoy during the many musical events.  It was lots of fun and we are looking forward to being there again next year.
We’ve already started to consider our menu for next year, which may include vegan cookies (many requests) and lunch/dinner items too.  If you would like to check out our  goodies and see a few pictures of the festival please check out our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gilberts-Gourmet-Goodies/256503803991.  Please “like” us while we are there and spread the word!
